Meet Gabor Farkas

Host of inSUBSTANTIA, Gabor Farkas is a mediator, facilitator, and lifelong questioner of assumptions. Born in Budapest, raised in Geneva, and shaped by decades of international experience, Gabor brings a rare blend of artistic sensibility, technical curiosity, and humanist commitment to everything he does.

His path has been anything but linear. From performing arts to multimedia entrepreneurship. From leading marketing teams across continents to facilitating delicate conversations around bullying, addiction, and workplace conflict. He has worked as a CEO, a stay-at-home father, a mediator trusted to guide people through difficult truths. And as someone who, early on, chose dialogue over dominance, and discovered in language the quiet power to transform.

With inSUBSTANTIA, Gabor invites listeners into a space of exploration. Not to debate, but to reflect. Not to rush to answers, but to sit with questions. Drawing on years of mediation, storytelling, and cross-cultural dialogue, he curates conversations that stretch across disciplines and ideologies. Always with an ear tuned to what lies beneath the surface.

About the Podcast

Who’s it for?

If you’ve ever felt intellectually restless, or if you find yourself asking, “Is there more to this than meets the eye?” — then you may already belong here.

The name inSUBSTANTIA reflects the philosophical impulse behind the show: to explore what lies beneath appearances, beyond labels, and within contradictions. What happens when we resist the temptation to immediately define, to categorise, to take sides?

We speak with thinkers, makers, and listeners from around the world — scientists, philosophers, artists, mediators, and engineers who are willing to think out loud. Each episode is an invitation to slow down, listen deeply, and ask better questions.

Whether you’re here for one episode or the long arc, welcome.
