Who we are
inSUBSTANTIA is a podcast produced and hosted by Gabor Farkas, based in Geneva, Switzerland. This website is operated at www.insubstantia.com. For any privacy-related questions, write to contact@insubstantia.com.
What we collect and why
Newsletter subscriptions. If you subscribe, you are redirected to Substack, which processes your email address independently under its own privacy policy. We use subscriber data solely to notify you of new episodes and occasional editorial updates. You may unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email we send.
Contact email. When you write to contact@insubstantia.com, we use your name and email address only to reply to your message. We do not share this data with third parties.
Server logs. Our web host automatically records standard access logs — IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. These are used for security and diagnostics only and are not linked to individual identities. Logs are retained for a maximum of 30 days.
Third-party services
Episodes are distributed on Apple Podcasts and Spotify. These platforms may collect listening data under their own policies. We have no control over, and no access to, data collected by podcast directories and apps.
Our newsletter is managed by Substack, which operates servers in the United States. Substack complies with applicable data transfer frameworks. Please review Substack’s privacy policy for full details.
Cookies
This website does not use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies. WordPress may set a small number of technical cookies for logged-in administrators. No personal data is stored in cookies for regular visitors.
Your rights

- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion of that data
- Object to or restrict certain processing
